Petrosains Science Festival 2016 - The Future of Coding by NEXT Academy
While technology has disrupted industries and economies in the world, many still find coding puzzling, and discouraged by the perceived challenges to learn. Therefore, this workshop aims to answer questions like “What is programming? Is programming hard?” especially for those without any prior knowledge.
This 60-minute workshop exposes you to the fundamentals of computational thinking, a framework to understand a problem, and ways to solve it.
Audience: Individuals who are 15 years old and above
Note: Bring your own laptop
You can book your seats now at no cost. However, you're advised to purchase your daily admission (RM5) and workshop (RM10) tickets at least one (1) week before the event. Entry is only allowed from the date/time on tickets purchased. For more info, visit:http://www.petrosains.com.my/psf2016-workshops/

About PETROSAINS Science Festival:
The Petrosains Science Festival is Petrosains’ initiative to provide a unified platform for communities in the fields of science and technology, such as the industry players and science academia, to come together for the common purpose of engaging and inspiring the Malaysian public, especially the younger generation, to the wonders of science and technology. The festival is similar to other such events held in major cities such as Edinburgh, Manchester, New York and Singapore, and is another step taken by Petrosains to play our role as a leading science centre and important supporting component to the country’s educational landscape. Through this Festival, we hope to further contribute to the popularizing of science to the public that combines the engaging and interactive Petrosains approach with the day-to-day relevance that industry and academia partners will bring.
